Founder of Face2Face is Joanne Partington, a talented artist from Doncaster, who now lives in St Helens, Merseyside, her home. Juggling life as mum to 2 boys with being a multi business owner, Joanne is supported by her husband, Mark.
Following the birth of he second son, Joanne made Face2Face her full time job; leaving behind a career in children’s services and stepping out of her comfort zone and into self employment in the entertainment industry.
Joanne’s entertainment journey began over 20 years ago as a rep for Celebrity Cruises. In xx Joanne became a member of the Actor’s Equity Association, qualifying to join this professional body based on her associated hours and experience working within the entertainment industry.
Embracing her artistic flair, Joanne use become a professional face painter, establishing Face2Face in 2006. In demand, Joanne’s business quickly developed from facepainting to parties with Joanne offering a full compliment of entertainment and party packages.
To meet demand Joanne began to built a Face2Face team to represent her. By 2017 Joanne’s team were so busy, she launched Face2Face Event and Entertainment Agency; her inspiration for the venture coming from the agency who gave her a shot on a cruise liner at just xx years old.
Aspiring to to offer entertainers the chance to do what they love, Joanne now sources work and opportunities for independant artists throughout the north west; she is proud these artists represent her trusted brand and in return receive a fair fee for their services.
2 years after starting her agency, Joanne won the award ‘Micro Business of the Year 2019’. Proud of the progress her small business has made, Joanne wants to shout from the roof tops to inspire others to develop themselves.
Joanne is delighted to be recognised for her contribution to the little town she now calls home. She is appreciative of the award and honoured to represent the talented professionals who have become a part of her Face2Face team.
Thrilled with the runaway success of her agency, Joanne is dediacted to discovering local talent and sourcing entertainment assignments. Face2Face service private and corporate functions with entertainers receiving a fair fee.
Joanne is a qualified life coach who encourages self belief and supports personal development; she facilitates a journey to finding happiness and building confidence.
In 2019 Joanne founderd Blue Banana, holistic coaching to empower men and women, equipping them to plan their lifestyle and acheive their goals.
Joanne teams with other local professionsals to create retreats and workshops in the UK and overseas. Development focuses on creating quality wellbeing to support a healthy mind, body and soul.
An active part of the local community, Joanne founded ‘Ladies That Sparkle’, a safe, relaxed space where women can connect, encourage and uplift one another. Joanne generously facilitates regular sessions and meetings, social events and casual catch ups.
Increasingly busy yet commited to ‘giving back’, Joanne is charitable with her time; her fundraising has included Willowbrook Hospice, The Hope Centre and Teardrops Supporting the Homeless. Local fundraisers are welcomed at ‘Ladies That Sparkle’ events.
Joanne is priviliged to be affiliated with Sam’s Diamonds Cancer Support, who have become her dedicated charity. Based in the North West, the charity help women maintain their sparkle during and after cancer treatment.
